Intrusion prevention and security in case of absence

By taking some basic preventive measures, digitalSTROM security system can help you avoid most intrusions! Indeed, by means of a random generator, which controls all or some lights and shutters, the system will automatically and randomly switch on/off some lights or light groups and raise or lower the outside shuttes by varying combinations. This will create the illusion that your home is constantly inhabited, serving as a very effective deterrent to any intruder.

Protection in the event of a break-in

Should a break-in nevertheless occur despite all undertaken preventive measures, the digitalSTORM security system will still be able to identify a break-in, thanks to the motion detector, which is simultaneously connected to the home alarm system. The reaction is immediate: all lights are automatically switched on, the shutters are raised and the connected audio system will play loud warning sounds. This will send any wanna-be robber running for the hills!

Protection against fire

In the event of a fire, like the smoke detector from Hekatron, the fire detector sensor reports the emergency to the digitalSTROM security system. This automatically makes all escape routes fully accessible and illuminated, i.e. switched on lights and raised shutters. Valuable, life-saving safety instructions are instantly sent via the audio system, while the system informs family members, neighbors or acquaintances. Indeed, only timely intervention can prevent the worse during these emergencies: the digitalSTROM security system adequately provides a significant safety and time advantage.

Protection against water leakage or floods

By placing leak sensors directly under baths, sinks, washing machines or boilers, your digitalSTROM Smart Home system can detect leaks and notify you on your smartphone in order to keep related damages to a minimum. You gain valuable time to prevent the worst, i.e. permanent water damage to your home, or just peaks in your water bills.

Protection against storms

The Weather Station, as an independent yet well-integrated part of the digitalSTROM Smart Home system, allows for the early detection of thunderstorms and storms. The information is next fed to the main system, which reacts by automatically raising all shutters and awnings to prevent storm damage.

Go Pushbutton

The Go Pushbutton is a very convenient feature of the digitalSTROM Smart Home. It consists of a simple smart pushbutton, placed handily near the front door. When leaving the house, you only need to press the Go Pushbutton. The Smart Home will automatically activate the presence simulation as well as other user-based features, like the alarm system as well as the disconnection of other devices from the power supply during absence. This reduces the risk of fire outbreaks, saves electricity and protects the environment.

Panic Pushbutton

If you hear suddenly a disturbing noise or if you have the feeling that something is wrong, you can make use of the Panic Pushbutton feature. You can install one such a button right next to your bed or any other easy-to-find, well-placed location in your house. By only pressing the Panic Pushbutton, you will be able to automatically activate blindingly bright lights, and alarm warning signals as well as raise the shutters. This will send any intruder running for the hills.

Privacy protection

Data protection is a top priority for digitalSTROM. Our cloud services are located in a data-processing center in Europe and are therefore subject only to the European Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Personal user data is not shared with third parties such as Google, Amazon or IFTTT. Furthermore, all communications with the cloud are end-to-end encrypted.
