For the second time in a row, the “best app” in the smart home sector gets top marks. digitalSTROM is rated tops again in FOCUS MONEY

Who better to judge how good an app is than the users themselves? For this reason, the renowned business and finance magazine FOCUS MONEY carried out their large-scale customer survey this year together with the Cologne-based consultancy and analysis institute ServiceValue. And for the second time in a row, dS Home Control from digitalSTROM was rated as the best app in the smart home sector.

375 apps from 45 different sectors were tested. In total, more than 73,000 customer opinions were evaluated from the representative online survey.

The different topic categories were “Home and energy”, “Health”, “Holidays and travel”, “Entertainment and communications”, “Finance and jobs”, “Trade and transport” and “Mobility”. The app with the highest customer satisfaction rating within a field was labelled “best app”. The smart home sector covers apps for operating a smart home, such as the control of lighting and heating.

digitalSTROM surpassed big-name competitors

The result: the digitalSTROM app was selected as test winner by the over 73,000 customers, and beat such competitors as Telekom, Bosch, Busch-Jaeger, somfy and innogy to the top in the smart home sector. Equally, this highlights the company's claim to "user-friendliness" and "practicability":
